Launch Checklist: 5 things to do before sharing

Updated on 31 Dec 2025 ยท 3 min read

Don't share an empty page! First impressions matter. Complete this 5-minute checklist to ensure your page is ready to convert visitors into supporters.

1. Profile & Cover Photo

People give money to people, not blank avatars.

  • Upload a clear Profile PictureUse the same photo you use on your main social media so fans recognize you instantly.
  • Add a Cover PhotoThis is your billboard. Use an image of your work, your studio, or your art.

2. The 'Why' (Bio)

Your bio is the first thing people read. Don't just say "I am a YouTuber". Tell them why they should support you.

โŒ Bad Example

"Hello everyone, this is my SupportKori page. Please donate."

โœ… Good Example

"Creating open-source coding tutorials for students in Bangladesh. Every coffee helps me keep the content free!"

3. Set a Goal

Creators who set a goal earn 2x more. Fans love to feel like they are contributing to something specific.

Examples of good goals:

  • "Buying a new microphone (0 / 5,000 Tk)"
  • "Web Hosting costs for 1 year (0 / 12,000 Tk)"
  • "My first short film budget (500 / 20,000 Tk)"

4. Create a Welcome Post

Don't send your fans to an empty room. Create at least one post before you share your link.

It can be simple:

"Hey guys! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I just launched my SupportKori page. If you love my videos and want to support my work directly, you can now buy me a coffee here. Thanks for being awesome!"
